Truth Is FriendCaller’s 7-Way Group Video Chat Can Easily Rule Out All Others

In response to a query from one of our customers, we realized that it’s time to present the real picture of multi-party mobile group video calling, which has been vaguely boasted by many others.

The purpose of this factual post is for everyone to know what difference is there having Mobile Video Conferencing over  Google Hangout, Skype, oVoo, Fringe, Tango  and FriendCaller.

Google Hangout – Though, 9-Way Video Chat is possible but toggling among users applied. You can see all contacts’ profile pictures but at a time you can only see one LIVE participant talking on screen with you. Pity, you can’t have all the members LIVE on the same screen at the same time!

oVoo - Same goes with oVoo. No doubt you can have a video chat with 12 participants but get to see just one participant LIVE at a time. Here also, you need to toggle among participants to make sense who is currently talking.

Skype - Sure! Video Chat is possible but not on mobile.  Furthermore a premium subscription is required for making Group Video Calls on desktop computers.

Facetime - Unfortunately, NO mobile group video chat is available.

Tango - No mobile group video chat option.

Fring – Now here, LIVE Group Video Calling is offered. but its just 4-way only.

    i have used many voip apps for video calling but never used 7 way or more at a time. if you are providing it free then it is amazing app i have used so far

    definitely a milestone. congratulations. i think skype and oovoo will also provide a free group video service now
