In response to a query from one of our customers, we realized that it’s time to present the real picture of multi-party mobile group video calling, which has been vaguely boasted by many others.
The purpose of this factual post is for everyone to know what difference is there having Mobile Video Conferencing over Google Hangout, Skype, oVoo, Fringe, Tango and FriendCaller.
Google Hangout – Though, 9-Way Video Chat is possible but toggling among users applied. You can see all contacts’ profile pictures but at a time you can only see one LIVE participant talking on screen with you. Pity, you can’t have all the members LIVE on the same screen at the same time!
oVoo - Same goes with oVoo. No doubt you can have a video chat with 12 participants but get to see just one participant LIVE at a time. Here also, you need to toggle among participants to make sense who is currently talking.
Facetime - Unfortunately, NO mobile group video chat is available.
Tango - No mobile group video chat option.
Fring – Now here, LIVE Group Video Calling is offered. but its just 4-way only.
FriendCaller – As for us, we don’t misguide FriendCaller currently is the first and the only one to offer Seven Way LIVE Cross-Platform Group Video Calling with 20 additional participants for Audio-access. Its available for Android, iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, WebPhone and even Facebook users can have a LIVE 7-way group video chat. All this for FREE!
Let’s sneak a peak at our way too happy video participants from C2Call itself, showing how a Cross-platform LIVE 7-Way Group Video Chat on iPhone looks like
So we do make a striking headway right? Do we need say more?
