Start 2011 with the New & Improved FriendCaller App for your Android

A New Year + FriendCaller Android version with new features = more usability!

This simple equation above highlights the recent work done by our Android developers. Since the popularity of Android devices continues to rise tremendously, therefore it was now time to furnish our version with some new exclusive features to make your calling experience more satisfactory.

Let’s take a closer look about what’s new:

The first most important new feature is surely the Facebook Connect. Till now Android users would have to simply login with their Facebook account. But now using the new FriendCaller Android version, you can also invite your Facebook friends. Just select the desired friends and post an invite message on their wall from within the app. Hint: a long click will invert the current selection, thus allowing you to select more friends with a single click. This functionality has been around for some time in our WebPhone and of course in our iPhone / iPod Touch app for iOS.

Furthermore, if you enable your CallMe-Link, you will see another new entry at the invite choices called “Share CallMe-Link“. Once you choose this, your exclusive CallMe-Link will be posted on your Facebook profile and your friends’ homepages, plus you can also type a message beforehand with it. Previously, Android users needed to activate their personal CallMe-Link via the normal FriendCaller account on

Android App Dial Assist

So, now it makes very easy for you to share your CallMe-Link with Facebook friends letting them call you instantly. Surely worth mentioning, calls via your personal CallMe-Link are still for FREE!

The third important feature is the integration of our revolutionary Dial Assistant, which we already introduced recently in our iPhone/iPod Touch app for iOS. This Dial Assistant is now even more enhanced than before for the new Android version of FriendCaller. Based on the screenshots you may learn how to use this improved Dial Assist for making international calls easily.

I also am frustrated since i cannot press the Allow button to post on my facebook wall to complete the registration. I have registered through the web ok but cannot do it on my HTC Wildfire. This defeats the whole scope.

Okay, our Android developers know this problem and it seems to be a bug of Facebook itself.
