Apple has secured an exclusive license to use new materials of U.S. metal specialist Liquidmetal Technologies.
The alloys of Liquidmetal distinguish from conventional metals, since they show an improvement of the material properties.

Well, this makes it official – we’ve raised $2 million in Series A funding from Draper Investment Company, High-Tech Gründerfonds and Mr. Klaus Wecken, co-founder of KHK Software AG.
Raising this sort of money from a group of such respected investors can certainly be seen not only as a vote of confidence, but also as a sign that we’re on the right track.
We’re especially excited that this fresh influx of funds will help accelerate our expansion, as we have already generated more than $2 million in revenues since April 2010 and now have more than 900,000 users, with an additional 15,000 new users a day. Much has clearly happened since the idea for C2Call was born back when our CEO Martin Feuerhahn and CTO Michael Knecht traveled the world on projects and found that each region seemed to have its own solution. Last week, Microsoft-CEO Steve Ballmer announced new Tablet PCs and explained that he wonders about high iPad , instead of windows tablet sales.
Windows Tablets were not rather successful so far and how it looks they also will not be in the future, due to the fact that Microsoft simply regards tablets as laptops with touchscreens. But actually the iPad offers less features and possibilities than a notebook. Regardless it is more successful, because it shell not be a substitute to a computer.
Apples product is meant for mobile media use, listening to music, regarding pictures, reading news or books and playing mini games. In fact, just for this features.

Google wants to simplify buying online flight tickets!
Google wants to buy an enterprise called ITA Software, which offers the possibility to search for flights, prices and free seats. The firm also provides Microsoft’s search engine Bing. Whether the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) proceeds against this purchase is not known right now. The purchase price of ITA amounts approximately 700 million U.S. dollars.
Google declared that they are looking forward to the collaboration, that they will respect all existing contracts and that they do not have the intention to start selling flight tickets. If the deal is clinched they want to develop new tools to search for flights. These tools shell simplify to compare prices and to buy the tickets.
However Media experts expect that the FCC will definitely intervene, since ITA provides global players like Microsoft, Kayak, Orbitz or Expedia with their flight data.

This view shows the name and full-size icon of each app. Tap on any app to launch it, or tap anywhere outside the folder area to close the folder and return to the Home screen.
Other notable new features are Spell Checking, a built-in dictionary, which automatically suggests words and corrects spelling. IBooks, a great ebook reader, which is also a place to browse and shop for books. And finally the possibility to create a playlists right on your iPhone.

The battery life and graphic performance is enhanced due to the use of the Apple’s new A4 processor. iPhone 4 also offers 802.11 n Wi-Fi networking and adds quad-band HSUPA to provide 7.2mbps downlink and 5.8mbps uplink capability.
Apple plans to offer its iPhone 4 to customers in US, France, Germany, Japan and UK on June 24, and provides an opportunity to pre-order iPhone 4 from June 15. Also on June 24, a new iPhone 3GS 8GB model will be available, adding up to the 16GB and 32GB 3GS models stream released last year.
iOS 4 can be downloaded after June 21 and iPhones (3GS models only), iPads, and iPod touches (3rd Generation) can be upgraded via iTunes 9.2 or later.
